Born in Tel-Aviv, Israel, Inbar Paz is a promising and talented young
double-bass jazz musician.
Inbar attended Israel’s best Music Schools: The Ted Arison School for Arts
elementary school and Thalma Yelin High School. She started playing the violin at
the age of seven, and was a member of the Young Philharmonic Orchestra.
At the age of 14, Inbar switched to double bass, and studied at the Israeli
Philharmonic Orchestra special program, “Key”, with various IPO players.
As a classical double bassist, she played with the Young Kibbutzim Orchestra and with the Young
Philharmonic Orchestra. She won the America-Israel Cultural Foundation’s Double-
bass Scholarship for 2009.
Inbar studied at the Buchman-Mehta School of Music in the University of Tel-Aviv.
In 2011, Paz studied jazz music in the New York New School program at the Israeli
Conservatory of Music. She played at the best Jazz venues in the country with some
of the most prominent Jazz musicians of Israel including, Ofer Ganor, Amos
Hoffman, Omri Mor, Hagai Amir, Itai Kriss, Erez Bar-noy, Shay Zelman, Jess Koren,, Katya Toobool, and many others.
In 2013, she played at theTel-Aviv Jazz Festival.
For the past two years, she was part of the big hits Musicals: Cabaret, My Fair Lady
and others, performing at the two largest Theaters in Israel, “Habima National
Theater” and the “Cameri".
Recently she performed with her own band at one of the most prestigious Jazz
Clubs in Israel (and according to the “business Insider”, in the World) Beit
Julieta Eugenio, Young Argentinian Saxophonist based in New York city.
Julieta was borned in Necochea (Buenos Aires) where she began studying music under the direction of Juan Carlos Gesualdi. She started with piano and then moved to saxophone and clarinet.
In 2008, she started her journey to the big city, Buenos Aires, to continue her musical studies at Carrera Superior de Jazz del Conservatorio Manuel de Falla, Conservatorio Nacional Lopez Buchardo ( IUNA) and some private lessons too.
Julieta embedded herself into the Argentinian jazz scene and performed in renowned jazz venues in Buenos Aires alongside master musicians
Julieta was accepted to study at Queens College for a Jazz Master's Degree in New York City.
After her Master's Graduation, nowadays, Julieta is playing alongside the finest jazz musicians from the worldwide and New York City jazz scene, such as Phillip Harper, David Berkman, Doug Weiss, Michael Mossman, Colin Stranahan, Jonathan Barber, Eden Ladin, Willerm Delisfort, and more.
Recentley Julieta had the opportunity to perform on one of the most prestigious jazz broadcast radios in the U.S. - WBGO, as well as being featured on a piece on ABC7 News nationwide alongside Master Philip Harper.
Sarah Slonim has made a name for herself on the New York City jazz scene as "a fantastic young pianist with an original concept and a delightful feel" (-Spike Wilner). Musicians and audiences often note Sarah’s beautiful touch and soulful and swinging approach to the music. In addition to being a member of the Ladies Trio, she leads her own band, the Sarah Slonim Project.
Sarah is a also a dedicated educator. She works to provide mentorship and instruction to the next generations of musicians and increase audience appreciation. She was born and raised in Seattle and graduated with a B.M. in Jazz Studies and a B.A. in Comparative Cultures and Politics from Michigan State University in 2011.
